Safe to Play Guidelines at Next Pitch

Next Pitch Waiver (COVID-19)
Next Pitch Attestation Form (required)
The goal of every baseball and softball hitter is to be safe -- and that is certainly our goal for each player in the Next Pitch family who walks through our doors.  We are doing everything we can to ensure a safe experience, and we will do what every great baseball player does: make adjustments.

Many of our 40+ windows will remain open as long as the weather allows.  The inside of the facility will look a little different as we follow all COVID-19 safety standards provided by the Massachusetts State and Local Departments of Public Health.  The information does change frequently, and we are monitoring it regularly.  You will receive additional information prior to your next visit to Next Pitch, however, please take a look at our new safety precautions:

  • All coaches will wash hands before and after every lesson - and fist bumps are going to have to wait awhile.
  • Coaches will take their temperature at least two hours prior to the first lesson everyday.
  • Coaches will maintain at least six feet from players before, during and after each lesson.
  • Next Pitch is waiving our 24-hour cancellation policy.  If you do not feel well or any of your family members are exhibiting any symptoms whatsoever, you must stay home.   We will find another time to do your lesson.  Here are a current list of symptoms here.
  • Parent/guardians must complete our attestation form prior to class. Please see above. This is required.
  • Players will be asked and are required to sanitize their hands prior to class.
  • Parents and guardians, every player is limited to one guardian in the facility. Please, no siblings at this time. Seating will be spaced appropriately and all spectators must wear a mask.
  • Players must bring his or her own water bottle. Please make sure it is properly labeled and stored in his or her bag.
  • A mask is required for all players at all times.
  • Next Pitch staff will wear a mask at all times when indoors.
  • Hand sanitizer, with at least 60% alcohol, will be readily available for all players before, during and after their lesson.
  • Next Pitch will be spacing out lessons to allow for cleaning in-between all groups. This will also allow players to leave without anyone coming up the stairs and vice versa.
  • Players are required to bring and use their own equipment, including a glove and bat. There will be no sharing of equipment between players and all of our bats and helmets have been put away.
  • Bathrooms, high traffic areas, tees and commonly touched surfaces will be cleaned thoroughly throughout the day.
  • Participants and spectators in high risk categories should not participate or attend these activities. List of high-risk categories available here.
  • All payments will be made through our website. You can pay before or after the lesson from your home.
