Chris Fay launched Next Pitch Baseball in 2019 and has been in player development for 20 years by working with players and coaches on "doing baseball right." Chris has coached at the college, high school and youth levels and currently serves as the head baseball coach at Wayland High School, as well as with the Bay State Braves travel program.

Chris serves as a presenter with Positive Coaching Alliance; a national non-profit dedicated to developing Better Athletes, Better People through sports.   Chris is a contributing writer to the New England Baseball Journal on topics related to coaching and is an annual presenter at the World Baseball Coaches' Convention.   He has three children (Joey, Tommy, and Maggie) who love the game -- and a wife (Gina) who is warming up to it :)

The mission of Next Pitch Baseball, LLC is to provide a fun and welcoming environment so players fall in love with the greatest game in the world, while learning how to compete and excel on the field one pitch at a time.

At Next Pitch, we believe that when done right, baseball can teach life lessons that stay with a player long after the game's final out, and we embrace and look for these lessons during our class, such as sportsmanship, grit, perseverance, and showing a growth mindset.

Baseball is a difficult game, however, too often players make it nearly impossible when their focus is on areas outside of their control rather than on the most important pitch of the game...the Next Pitch.

The Next Pitch mentality requires players to learn from the last pitch and then turn their full attention to the Next Pitch.   Players must learn to compete where their cleats are in that moment whether it is in the box or on the mound.
